About the Hosts

Dr. Nadia Sirdar

Bethesda Modern Primary Care

For nearly a decade, Dr. Nadia Sirdar, MD, MPH cared for the sickest patients in the hospital—often meeting them at some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. As a board-certified internal medicine physician trained at Yale University, Northwestern University, and UT Southwestern Medical Center, she became deeply familiar with complex medical conditions and what happens when preventive care comes too late.

After years at Sibley Memorial Hospital caring for critically ill adults, Dr. Sirdar chose to shift her focus to the community—to help prevent the very hospitalizations she witnessed every day. She founded Bethesda Modern Primary Care to deliver a more thoughtful, accessible model of primary care: one where women in midlife can receive expert menopause and healthy aging care, early intervention, lifestyle-focused medicine, and continual support—not rushed visits or reactive care.

Her practice offers same-day appointments, direct communication, and home visits when needed—ensuring patients receive the time, attention, and partnership that truly protects long-term health.
